Technology use in the Classroom

I think that the use of technology in the classroom is necessary for our students to be marketable and successful once they graduate from high school. With that being said, I think that technology integration needs to occur much earlier in the educational career of our students than high school. Polling my high school students it seems that they do not have access or exposure to technology until they get to high school. It is difficult to have the students complete a webquest if they do not have the first clue about how to get to the starting point.
